![]() In the real world, I’m a planner. I LOVE lists! I even write retrospective lists, just so that I can tick things off. I love setting goals, and breaking them down into manageable chunks. The prettier the planner, the better. (A visit to Kikki.K usually empties my wallet…) You can imagine my surprise, then, when I discovered that in terms of writing, I’m a pantser! For those unfamiliar with the term, as I was until about a year ago, a pantser is a writer who flies by the seat of their pants, who just starts writing to see where the story will lead. I discovered I was a pantser when I began writing in the Australian Writers’ Centre Furious Fiction competitions in 2019. (To take a peek at some of my entries, click here.)
